Great question! On a daily basis we currently offer:

Guided Wine Tastings – A sampling of 6 pre-selected wines at the Tasting Bar with one of our Wine Guides (indoors & lasts approximately 45 minutes)

Limited Picnic Table Seating on the Tasting Room lawn. We have wine available by the glass, bottle and flight from the service bar along with an assortment of curated artisan snacks from our Prey Gourmet Market. 
Head in to the winery to pick out your wine and snacks and bring them back to your table for a laid-back winery visit. 

Walk-Ins Welcome
All Tastings & Seating are available on a First-Come, First Served basis through the Winter, with the exception of large groups.

There is no “standing room” available.

When visiting us in the Tasting Room, be sure to mention your membership at the start of your transaction.

Nope! While our tented seating area will close on November 10th, the Tasting Room will remain open with cozy indoor seating and picnic tables available on the front lawn. Come sip with us as usual!

We offer a selection of gourmet cheeses and artisanal snacks at our Prey Gourmet Market. 

In the winter months when we are not hosting a Food Truck you are welcome to bring food along with you.

Food is NEVER permitted in the Tasting Room.
Food odors can significantly impair one’s ability to smell and taste wine and takes away from our Guided Wine Tasting Experience.

We welcome you to bring your children along, however this is a working farm so we ask that you keep your children within arm’s reach at all times. 

For our liability and your safety, families who can not keep their children within arms reach will be asked to move on with their day.

We welcome you to bring your well-trained furry friends along with you and sit outside on the Tasting Room lawn at the picnic tables as long as the weather permits.  We do not have indoor or covered seating for pets and their families.

For our liability and the pleasure of all our guests, pets that cannot be kept under control (excessive barking included) will be asked to move on with their day.

We do not currently accommodate pets inside our Tasting Room. 

Absolutely — Rootstock isn’t going anywhere! Great music, delicious food, and all our favorite people will still fill the vineyard. The only difference? We’re adding air conditioning and indoor plumbing. 😉

Yes! We’re looking for passionate wine lovers with at least a WSET Level 1 Certification to join our team as Tasting Room Wine Guides and Tour Hosts starting Spring 2026.

Yes! Beginning Spring 2026, we’ll introduce Vineyard & Winery Tours — a behind-the-scenes look at winemaking at Hawk Haven.

We’re aiming for late May or early June 2026 — and we’ll happily take all your good vibes and prayers to help us get there!

We’ll offer a limited number of small private events exclusively for members of our Quarterly Wine Club. However, we won’t be hosting weddings or large-scale private events. Our focus remains on what we do best — growing exceptional New Jersey wines and creating intimate, memorable experiences for our biggest fans.
