The Hawk Haven "Cru"

Kenna’s dad always told her when she was a young girl, “You are only as good as the people you choose to surround yourself with.”

Kenna and Todd have always considered the quality of their staff as important as the quality of their wines. The “motley crew” who make up the Hawk Haven family share a love of making new friends and enjoying delicious food accompanied by great wine.

Winemaking & Vineyard

conor

Head Winemaker
His advice to those beginning their wine journey is "Simply put, wine is fun and it does not need to be exorbitant in price to be good or savored. Try everything and define your own palate because there is novelty in every bottle!."

sam

Assistant Winemaker
Her advice to wine drinkers is never give up on a wine you don’t like. “Try it again in a few years because your palate changes over time. Remember when you were a kid and you hated that one specific food, then suddenly years later you find yourself craving it? Wine is like that!”

Lalo

Vineyard Manager
Lalo joined Hawk Haven in 2009, bringing orchard experience and a deep love for the land. Now our Vineyard Supervisor, he thrives outdoors and is even known to chat with the vines as he cares for them!

Bill

He highly recommends trying all sorts of wines, even visiting different wineries, because it helps to improve and expand your palate. “You can always learn something new and pick up new scents and flavors.”

Glenn

Glenn can be found taking care of our flowers, trees and vines around the farm. He also takes care of all of the nests and baby critters that pop up in the Spring and finds them safe homes.

Ben

Benjamin is Lalo's right-hand man in the vineyard, tending to our ever-multiplying rows of vines.
