WINEMAKER'S NOTES
This wonderful blend of a young and vibrant Chambourcin along with the bold, yet well rounded Cabernet Sauvignon make this a versatile wine for a wide variety of foods. The 2007 Cabernet was aged in oak for 16 months to allow for ample maturity of its tannins. While the 2008 Chamourcin was aged in stainless steel in order to retain its fruity youthfulness. Beautiful aromas of raspberry and blackberry from the chambourcin lead into structured layers of blackcurrant and spice from the Cabernet. Enjoy with simple foods like pizza, pasta with red sauce, all the way to a hearty steak.
